EMS wins Energy Modelling contract for MAG Residences

Written by EMS

Energy Management Services (EMS) has secured contract to conduct Energy Modelling for MAG Residences in Dubai.

The objective of this project is to perform Energy Modelling in order to predict annual energy consumption/CO2 emission and carry out the requirements of ASHRAE.

EMS’ strong reputation in the region as the leading energy solution provider in the Middle East, enables considerable value addition to the project. As part of the project, EMS’ goal is to ensure that the proposed facilities will operate utilizing optimal energy at a reduced cost.

Energy Modelling is the process of generating and managing building data during its life cycle. It covers geometry, spatial relationships, light analysis, geographic information, quantities and properties of building components. A computer program is used to calculate the design energy consumption, energy cost, design performance and the effect of any measure on the building performance.

As Energy Partners for many clients in the Middle East over the past two decades, EMS has been actively involved in assisting its clients to strategically manage energy procurement by designing and implementing energy efficiency solutions, supplying reliable and cost-competitive energy services, and coordinating the installation of energy infrastructure and technologies.
